Xpert Energy Service & Maintenance is a division of Xpert Energy Installations Ltd who are fully accredited installers under the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme). We employ a team of specialist engineers from a wide range of backgrounds to carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and breakdown cover for the domestic and commercial sectors.

Our specialist engineers are highly qualified in Water Source, Ground Source, Air Source and Exhaust Air Heat Pumps, underfloor, MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery), Heat Interface Unit (HIU) and Solar Thermal. We also cover a number of other technologies; Bi-Valent (Dual Fuel) Systems, Thermal Stores, Unvented Cylinders and Underfloor Heating.

There are various levels of service offered to suit your requirements including a full annual service agreement, priority breakdown cover, fault finding, commissioning and one off service visits.

We also design, supply and install new or replacement systems to include radiators and under floor circuits.

We are certified by MCS, CHAS, RECC and are F-GAS and Trustmark and Gas Safe registered.

Service

Heat Pumps
This technology minimizes the amount of carbon (or greenhouse gas) emitted into the atmosphere and can reduce the cost of heating your property. Heat pump repair requires a specific and unique set of skills; an advanced understanding of heating, electrical and refrigerant knowledge.

Providing a total end to end solution
Our service and maintenance engineers are specifically selected for their knowledge and understanding to repair and diagnose heat pumps. Xpert Energy service and maintain all makes and models of heat pumps available:

We are F-Gas registered and cover all refrigeration work.

Heat Interface Systems (HIU)
Heat interface units are packaged hot water and/or heating production units for apartments, single or multi dwelling houses, industrial and commercial applications. Heat is produced on mass in an Energy Centre and fed to individual HIUs by a network of distribution pipework. HIUs are compact in size, comparable to traditional wall hung boilers.

Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery system (MVHR)

Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) is when a series of ducts draws stale air from wet rooms (e.g. kitchen, bathrooms). The energy is extracted from the stale air which is discharged into the atmosphere. The recovered energy is then passed to the incoming supply of fresh air, through the ducts, into the living space (e.g. lounge). The building must be very air tight in order for MVHR to be effective.

Solar Thermal
Our engineers are trained in installation, service and repair of Solar Thermal of all makes and models.

Why service?

Yearly servicing will contribute to efficient running, and costs will be kept to a minimum.
Generates the maximum amount of renewable heat.

Maintenance

Xpert Energy Installations were formed over 14 years ago and we have gained a wealth of knowledge in repairs and maintenance of renewable energy. Some of the typical repairs we would undertake:

Heat Pumps
Replacement of main heat pump parts to include PCB, Sensors, Limit Stats, Fan Motors, circulation pumps, pressure relief valve, expansion valve, compressors, expansion vessels and cold water valves.

MVHR Systems
Repair and replacement of complete MVHR units and parts including fan motors, pcb, silcencers and ductwork also camera investigation.

HIU Units
Attend site to look at leaks and replace thermostatic valve head and body, circulation pumps and heating actuator valves.

Solar Thermal Systems
If there is a problem we will attend site to top up fluid where the make of glycol is known. Also we fit expansion vessels and pumps when required.
